Vermont Law School

Project

Responsive website design, front-end programming, photography, strategy, writing

In 2013 Vermont Law School was seeing declining applications and staring at an increasingly competitive new reality. As a small, relatively young institution lacking a large endowment and committed to training lawyers and leaders who care more about making a difference than they do making money - the need for sustaining steady enrollment was especially acute. There was an urgency to get the top-line messaging right. Flannel developed a campaign and website that highlights the important work being done on the national level by the law school’s graduates, faculty, and students. Working closely with the Vermont Law web development team, who developed the CMS themselves, Flannel brought the bold, responsive design and user experience to life. Applications in 2014 increased above projections, and Flannel was subsequently retained to create additional admissions materials and marketing campaigns, as well as take over the law school's alumni magazine.
